Forensic Evaluations for Insurance Companies

Peterson Geotechnical Group has assisted insurance companies and insurance adjusters during their evaluation of insurance claims. Our evaluations have assisted insurance companies and/or adjusters in evaluating claims, the cost of repair for covered losses, and identification of the responsible party.

Projects that we have worked on include commercial buildings, residential custom and multifamily homes, high rise developments and shopping centers, and parking structures. At many of these projects, the work not only involves an investigation to determine and opine upon the cause of distress, but also preparation of repair recommendations to determine a cost to repair; often we are engaged to oversee these repairs as well.
